About Us

Developing, Learning, Innovating LLC is a company founded by three long-time educators:
Kiffany Lychock, Liz Walhof, and Pat McGraw.

Liz Walhof

An educator since 1999, Liz has taught students from preschool to college level.  She has worked as a middle school teacher, a high school teacher, an instructional coach, a professional developer, a Director of IT, and a member of her superintendent’s Cabinet.  Liz graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Master’s Degree in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment from the University of Phoenix in 2006. She earned her instructional technology endorsement in 2009, and her principal’s certificate in 2016.

Liz is an active member of the Colorado Association of Leaders in Educational Technology (CALET), has served as a member of the Professional Learning Team for Learning Forward Colorado, and currently serves as the President of the Board of Innovative Education Colorado (InnEdCO).  Liz has been presenting, leading, and coaching on topics of innovation, technology, and learning at the district, state, and national level since 2010.  She has been instrumental in working with legal professionals and district leaders to help navigate compliance with the Student Data Transparency and Security Act (SDTSA or C.R.S. 22.16.101 et seq).

Kiffany Lychock

Kiffany has been an educator for the past fourteen years in various roles and capacities.  Ten of those years include classroom experience as a secondary Spanish teacher.  She has been an instructional coach in various capacities for the last nine years.  Her passion for educational technology has provided her with opportunities to work at the district level with the IT, Curriculum and Professional Development departments.

As an educator who is passionate about 21st Century Teaching and Learning environments, Kiffany is obsessing most recently over differentiated learning in both traditional and blended environments. She believes in practicing what she preaches and strives to lead all of her professional development sessions as a facilitator who supports solid pedagogy with the appropriate digital tools. Continually modeling backwards planning and incorporating 21st Century Skills into professional development are key components in Kiffany’s plan to provide the highest quality instruction to staff.

Kiffany graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 1995 with a BA in Spanish Literature and Language and a BA in English Literature. She holds a Colorado Professional License in Spanish Education K-12 and has an Instructional Technology Specialist endorsement. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Master’s Degree in Information and Learning Technologies from the University of Colorado at Denver in August of 2005.

When she is not working with educators, Kiffany enjoys spending time with her five year old twins, Max and Mia, and her husband Marc. Her favorite pastimes include playing competitive volleyball, reading, running, and spending time in the gorgeous landscape surrounding her home in Castle Rock, Colorado.

James Pat McGraw

Pat McGraw is a consultant for Developing, Learning and Innovating LLC as well as for HSSK. Pat has 32 years of experience as an employee of and consultant to various school districts.  He has served as Chief of Staff, Chief Development and Innovation Officer, and Executive Director of Enterprise Solutions for Douglas County School District in Castle Rock, Colorado, one of the fastest growing school districts in the U.S. with over 60,000 students and revenues in excess of $500 million.

Pat’s experience includes the management and oversight of the district’s professional development organizational structure and Continuous Quality Improvement department, negotiation and implementation of service contracts and the development and implementation of the first performance pay program in the state of Colorado, as well as the school district’s first Kindergarten-through-12 grade online school (eDCSD).  During his tenure at Douglas County School District, Pat was responsible for strategic planning as well as financial accounting / planning for various departments within the school district.

Pat earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Colorado, a Master of Science degree in Chemistry and Physics Instruction from the University of Northern Colorado and an Honorary Doctorate of Education from Jones International University.
